New York City Sanitation Truck in Hit and Run of Cyclist

The New York Post reported today that a New York City sanitation truck critically injured and nearly severed the arm of a cyclist in a hit-and-run in Bushwick, Brooklyn on Wednesday night, August 1, 2018. The cyclist is a 25-year-old woman who was pedaling in the bike lane when the garbage truck hit her and continued driving. The driver may not have even known that he hit her, which prompts the question, whether he was distracted by a mobile device while driving. See the New York Post article by Ken Garger here:
